How is hypnosis different from psychotherapy?

Major Mindset Hypnosis is very different from psychotherapy. Psychotherapy typically addresses a medical condition or disorder while Major Mindset Hypnosis addresses ordinary problems and concerns. Major Mindset Hypnosis may complement psychotherapy or other medical treatments when a medical referral from the physician is provided. Hypnosis-Counseling is never a substitute for medical care and, by law, is not medical care.

Major Mindset Hypnosis gets results — it’s not therapy! Major Mindset Hypnosis gets results in weeks or months, sometimes in just one or two visits. Psychotherapy takes several months, sometimes several years before you see any results. Major Mindset Hypnosis works with your subconscious mind — the part of your mind that controls what you actually do without you being aware of it (like your breathing or heart beating). Major Mindset Hypnosis removes the negative stains on your subconscious, improves your confidence and allows you to overcome whatever was previously holding you back. It is all done with your own thoughts and feelings, not those of the hypnotist.

Major Mindset Hypnosis practices general hypnosis and specializes in Academic Hypnosis-Counseling, Sports Hypnosis-Counseling, Medical Hypnosis-Counseling (a medical referral from your physician may be required), Hypnosis for Weight Loss or to Stop Smoking, Hypnosis for Stress Relief, Hypnosis-Counseling for a variety of ordinary and not so ordinary concerns.
